Featured mover on www.CarolinasMovers.comSome important things your mover should ask you
What is your full name?
Where are you moving to and from?
What are your preferred move date(s)?
What style home are you coming out of and going into?
a. Single family, townhouse, condo, apt, one level, two, or three?
b. How many total rooms? Garage? Shed or storage room?
c. Are there stairs or an elevator or a long carry to your residence?
d. Can the truck park close to the residence/building?
If you are using a rental truck or pods type service, do you want us to provide protective materials for your move? Make sure the price of the materials is included in the estimate.
Are you intersted in packing materials or packing services?
Do you need storage?
Is there a particular piece of furniture or item that you are concerned about that may require extra care and special handling?
Any bulky, heavy or unusual items, such as piano, waterbed, big screen tv, etc.?
The answers to these questions will ensure a more accurate estimate. This is very important especially if no onsite estimate is given. If an estimate is given over the phone and these questions have not been asked, beware, you may pay more than you were quoted!
Remember, you are moving your prized possessions! Don't just pick the lowest estimate as this may not be the best move. Like everything else in life, you get what you pay for. While we are not the lowest or highest priced movers, we are the best movers. Choose a quality moving service, such as Fairway Moving Services, and we will change your opinion of movers forever.
